Bethel's Walnut Hill Church Stages Musical Version Of 'A Christmas Carol'

BETHEL, Conn. - The Theater at Walnut Hill is proud to present this year's production, a musical version of Charles Dickens' classic Christmas story, "A Christmas Carol."

It tells the story of a bitter, old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge, and his transformation into a gentler, kindlier man after visitations by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Yet to Come. The story ends with him finding forgiveness and a second chance to live a joyful life.

There are six performances at the Walnut Hill Community Church's Bethel Campus:

  • Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, bring your favorite teacup and saucer, and join a Christmas tea luncheon before the final matinee performance and be treated to freshly baked scones, a sampling of four tea sandwiches, a selection of Harney & Sons Teas and dessert.
